The 15th WBSC Men’s Softball World Championship will be held at the Pepsi Softball Centre in Whitehorse, Yukon.

The world’s best men’s fastpitch athletes will hit the diamond in Whitehorse on July 7, 2017, competing for their countries over 10 days in front of thousands of fans, friends, and family.

Participating teams are still to be determined, but the 14th Men’s World Softball Championship, held in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, saw 15 teams competing. The gold medal in Saskatoon was won by Canada. They defeated New Zealand 10-5 in the final. Venezuela claimed the bronze medal.

The 2017 Men’s Softball World Championship will be the fourth world championship hosted in the Yukon. Whitehorse previously hosted the 2008 Junior Men’s World Softball Championship, 2012 Women’s World Softball Championship, and 2014 Junior Men’s World Softball Championship.

Softball Yukon and the 2017 WBSC Men’s Softball World Championship Host Committee are excited to welcome everyone to Whitehorse!
